BIOGRAPHY

Esteban (Steven) Cabral was born in New York City in 1990 where he was surrounded by music from all genres. Steven started playing drums and percussion at an early age in church. Through his adolescent also played multiple instruments including trumpet, and clarinet. In high school Steven was part of the Percussion Ensemble learning to play orchestral instruments like timpani, vibraphone, and marimba. As well was part of the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Captain of the Drum line. He was taught under the direction on Adam Steff, and Jeff Willis. After Highs cool he Joined a Open Class Drum Corps called Spokane Thunder and toured North America. Steven also also plays congas, bongos, timbales and a variety of assorted percussion instruments. Cabral also has a certificate in Audio Engineering for the Florida Institute of Recording Sound and Technology. During his career as a percussionist Steven has performed with N'Klabe, Ismael Miranda, Edgar Joel, Hector Rey, Javy Marrero (PR Power), Puchi Colon, Carlos Mojica y Sonido Criminal, Alex Morris, Hector Javier, Chamaco Rivera, Jose (Papo) Rivera, Ruben Felix (Orquesta Xariz), David Y Abraham, Ezeqiuel Colon, Rafi Cruz, Ray Santana, Samuel Moreno, Apostol Fermin Rodriguez, Miguel Garcia, Christian Ray, Clave Dura, Nandy Rosario, Maribel Rodriguez, Orquesta Genesis, Rico Tumbao, Liquid Spiral, Tito De Gracia, Jessie Caraballo (Marc Anthony's Drummer), and many more. As well as performed at the House of Blues (Orlando) and Bongos in Universal Studio FL. Steven has two of is own Latin Band with fellow percussionist called J&S and Tumbao 4K. Steven currently recorded on Ezequiel Colon's latest album Cantor de Oficio. He is comfortable in any genre from Symphonic to Jazz, Funk and from Latin to House. Steven is currently endorsed by Soultone Cymbal Company.
